The Girls After School Academy has operated in Sunnydale, San Francisco's largest public housing development, since 1993. The program has expanded to include two other sites since its inception. The Sunnydale site, while still serving all girls ages 8-17, has concentrated its efforts on working with girls ages 8-14.

GASA is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for girls by offering positive role models, activities which inspire learning, and access to educational and recreational resources.

During the school semester, we are open from 2:00pm-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Summer hours are 11:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
