VILLAGE:
Village Community Center is located at 333 Schwerin Avenue in Visitacion Valley. Formerly a housing development called Geneva Towers, it is now home to several youth-oriented programs. GASA operates a satellite program in the Village Community Center that is dedicated to enabling girls 15-20 to grow into healthy adults. The GASA girls have demonstrated true leadership and commitment in creating exactly the program they want at the Village.
We're pleased to announce our expansion to Hoover Middle School during school hours on Wednesday, 11:00am-1:15pm. Girls who attend these sites must go through their grade counselors.
GASA covers:
African-American History
Job Preparedness
Pregnancy Prevention
Etiquette
Money Management
Fundraising
The Arts
Physical Health
And, Most Importantly: Living and Learning to Respect Ourselves As Women.
For further inquiries or to learn about our different programs, call (415) 584-4044 or email us at GASA@pacbell.net.
